ON-ROAD (EGR AND NON-EGR)
The ThermaCat and ThermaCat-e are both approved for on-road applications; however the applicable engine family name listing varies greatly. The primary differences between the two products are the ability of the ThermaCat-e product to be applied to engines featuring external EGR.
The main technical bench marks for the ThermaCat:
- Applicable to model years from 1993 through 2003
- Applicable engine hp range from 175 to 375 hp
- Applicable engine displacement from 5 to 10 L
- Product has a ‘swapping’ provision within the executive Order

- Applicable to model years from 1996 through 2009
- Applicable engine hp range from 150 to 400 hp
- Applicable engine displacement from 4 to 13 L
- Applicable for engines featuring exhaust gas recirculation (EGR)
- Product has a ‘swapping’ provision within the executive Order

OFF-ROAD

- Applicable to model years from 1996 through 2010
- Applicable engine hp range from 100 to 350 hp
- Applicable engine displacement from 5 to 15.2 L
